PIK Global Accounts gives platforms the infrastructure to embed financial services directly into their products — without becoming a licensed financial institution.PIK’s Global Accounts product lets you create and manage financial accounts for your customers programmatically. Each account — called a connected account — belongs to one of your customers and is provisioned under your platform’s master PIK account.Through Global Accounts, your customers can hold multi-currency balances, receive inbound funds via Virtual Account Numbers and crypto addresses, convert between currencies, and make payouts to bank accounts worldwide. You orchestrate all of this through the PIK API. PIK handles the banking rails, regulatory compliance, and funds custody underneath.
Multi-currency wallets — Give customers wallets that hold AUD, USD, USDT, USDC, and other supported currencies, all within your platform.Virtual Account Numbers — Assign each customer a unique Australian BSB and account number so they can receive AUD bank transfers from any third-party sender.Crypto receiving addresses — Assign each customer a dedicated USDT and USDC wallet address for on-chain inbound transfers.Currency conversion and on-ramp/off-ramp — Convert between fiat and stablecoins at institutional-grade rates using PIK’s Transactional FX engine.Global payouts — Send funds to bank accounts worldwide on behalf of your customers via PIK payout rails.
Global Accounts is built on a three-tier model. PIK provides the regulated infrastructure. Your platform manages accounts and operations via the API. Connected accounts are the financial accounts held by your customers. You interact with PIK using your platform credentials. When acting on behalf of a specific customer, you pass the x-on-behalf-of header in API requests to scope the operation to that connected account.
Step 1 — Understand the model. Read About Connected accounts and Platform relationships to understand how accounts are structured and how API authorisation works.Step 2 — Onboard your first customer. Create a connected account, submit KYC details, and wait for verification before enabling financial capabilities.Step 3 — Issue a Virtual Account Number. Once verified, issue a VAN so your customer can start receiving AUD from any sender.Step 4 — Activate capabilities. Enable FX conversion, outbound payouts, or other capabilities as needed.Step 5 — Go live. Test in the PIK sandbox, then switch to production credentials when ready.
